GLUTEN FREE / NO SUGAR ADDED / VEGAN
A guilt free Bread recipe, that is easy to make, but just need a bit of patience.. for the grains to ferment. Your gut will love it!
FERMENTED BUCKWHEAT BREAD
Ingredients:
- 360g whole buckwheat
- 260g water
- 1 tsp Himalayan or sea salt
- 1 cup Mixed seeds (suggestion: 1/4 cup Flax seeds, 1/4 cup Sesame seeds, 1/4 cup Sunflower seeds, 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds)
How to prepare:
Soak the buckwheat in water, enough to cover it, for 8 to 12 hours
Drain the water, but do not rinse the buckwheat. Make sure all water is out. Then add 260g water + salt
Let it stand for another 12 hours. After this time, it should start having tiny bubbles. You can leave it for a further 6 hours should you want too, especially if its cold, it could need a bit more time
Fold in the seeds & pour into a well greased pan
Bake for 1 hour @ 180 degrees
