Quick & Easy Guilt Free Brownie recipe
ALMOND DATE BROWNIES
INGREDIENTS:
- 150g Dates + 1/4 Cup Boiling Water
- 60g Coconut oil + 60g Macadamia or Sunflower oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup sifted Cocoa
- 1 1/4 cup Almond flour
- pinch of sea salt or himalayan salt
- Optional – decorate with almond flakes
HOW TO MAKE:
Step 1 – Bring dates in water to boil, with lid. Once boiling, take off stove and let it sit for around 10min , to soften
Step 2 – Put the stove on – 180 degrees :0)Â Â Mash the dates with a fork & add the oil
Step 3 – Beat the eggs until light & fluffy. Then add the date & oil mixture + add vanilla
Step 4 – Sift in the cocoa & mix with electric mixer.
Step 5 – Fold in the rest of ingredients & bake for 20 min @ 180 degrees
