This recipe is quick to prepare, but just requires advance planning, as it takes time to settle.. :0) It is also easy to customize with any add-ins or toppings, perfect for busy mornings.
OVERNIGHT OATS RECIPE
BASIC INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup rolled Oats
- 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 3/4 cup Non-Dairy Milk OR 1/2 cup Milk + 1/4 cup Yoghurt
- 1 small pinch of salt
MIX-INS – choose any of the below
- 1 – 2 tablespoon chopped Nuts or Seeds or Desiccated Coconut
- 1 to 2 tablespoon of any Nut Butter
- Vanilla, Cinnamon, Cocoa powder
- Fruit, I.e. Banana, Apple, Berries etc
TO PREPARE
- Add all the basic ingredients to a jar or other container with a lid.
- Add mix-ins of choice & stir well. If you prefer to add it on afterwards, you can garnish it with fresh add-in ingredients
- Refrigerate for anything from 6 hours to 3 days
