Low in Gluten / Instant, quick to make
RYE TEFF SEED BREAD Recipe
Wet ingredients)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup Buttermilk OR (1 cup Milk + 1 tsp lemon or vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 heaped teaspoon Honey
- 1 cup water
Dry ingredients)
- 1 1/2 cup Rye flour
- 1 cup Teff flour
- 1/4 cup Flax seed powder
- 2 x 60g scoop Tapioca OR Potato Starch
- 2 teaspoons Xantham gum OR Psyllium Husk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Sea or Himalayan Salt
- 1/3 cup Mixed seeds
Mix the wet ingredients & Dry ingredients in separate bowls. Start by first adding only 1/2 of the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, with a whisk or electric mixer. Fold in the rest gently. Let it sit for around 10 to 15 minutes first, before putting it in the oven.
Bake in 180 degrees pre-heated oven, for 1 hour
Let it cool first, before slicing it. Enjoy! :0)
