Rye & Teff Seed Loaf (No Yeast)

Low in Gluten / Instant, quick to make

RYE TEFF SEED BREAD Recipe

Wet ingredients)

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Buttermilk OR (1 cup Milk + 1 tsp lemon or vinegar)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 heaped teaspoon Honey
  • 1 cup water

Dry ingredients)

  • 1 1/2 cup Rye flour
  • 1 cup Teff flour
  • 1/4 cup Flax seed powder
  • 2 x 60g scoop Tapioca OR Potato Starch
  • 2 teaspoons Xantham gum OR Psyllium Husk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Sea or Himalayan Salt
  • 1/3 cup Mixed seeds

Mix the wet ingredients & Dry ingredients in separate bowls. Start by first adding only 1/2 of the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, with a whisk or electric mixer.  Fold in the rest gently.  Let it sit for around 10 to 15 minutes first, before putting it in the oven.

Bake in 180 degrees pre-heated oven, for 1 hour

Let it cool  first, before slicing it. Enjoy! :0)
